1. Some Studio types accommodate two people. Can I share the room with friends?

2. Is it possible to change rooms?

   If another student cancels or agrees to change rooms with you, you can contact the property management team and the staff will do their best to meet your needs. Other than the room type and size, other amenities are the same.

3. Can I check in early?

   Please contact your advisor for early check-in requirements. If we have a room available, we will arrange for you to check in early for an additional rental fee.

4. How to pay rent?

   Optional annual/quarterly/monthly payment.

5. Rent is due and unpaid, will my bank card be charged directly?

   No. You need to log in to your apartment system account and set up your payment method, either online or by swiping your card through the apartment front desk, or by bank transfer, but bank transfer is usually only used in special cases (such as online payment difficulties/payment failures), we prefer the first two payment methods. You can choose a payment method when you submit your booking request.

6. When should I pay the deposit?

   When you submit your application and accept the contract.

7. Deposit Refund Time

   Upon the expiration of your lease, the deposit will be refunded upon successful completion of the check-out check. The Deposit will be held by [Deposit Protection Service] or [My Deposit Scotland].

8. Can I deliver in advance?

   It is recommended to contact the property team to confirm the room type and package storage details.

9. What type of sponsor do I need to provide?

   The guarantor shall be aware of your stay and agree to your payment of the rent. If payment is delayed, the property will contact your guarantor. Sponsors must be at least 18 years of age, have a full-time job and a fixed address. Often, the sponsor may be required to provide proof of address to confirm identity.

10. Do I have to pay land tax?

    Full time students are exempt from local tax, proof is required

11. When can I check in?

    Check-in is possible at the time of signing the contract, if you arrive at the apartment outside of working hours, it is best to inform the apartment in advance so that check-in can be arranged.

12. How to pick up your Key Card

    After checking in at the front desk, you can pick up your key card at the front desk of your apartment.

13. Can I ask someone else to collect my key card?

    For security reasons, the key card can only be collected in person.

14. Can I smoke in the room?

    The apartment is non-smoking and has a smoke alarm. Please consult the front desk for smoking areas.
