Where do people live if there are such high-value 1-bedroom apartments in the city center that nobody is living in?

I really don't know everyone's preferences lately. I don't know if any students like BTR apartments. Having a fully equipped apartment by the river in the city center for £300+ per week is still quite attractive, right?!
