When is the deadline for paying the rent?
Please login to your student housing portal, click Pay to enter the screen, check the rental contract deadline, please pay the rent before the deadline.
Can I pay by installments?
If you have a valid UK guarantor, you can choose to pay your rent in three instalments, in September, January and April. If there is no valid UK guarantor, full rent must be paid one month before the start of the contract.
How to pay rent?
1. Online Payment: Log in to your student portal, select the payment option, and tick the item you want to pay for. Make payments using one of the following four types of payment cards: Mastercard/Visa/Visa Debit/Visa Electron. Please ensure that the payment card has a sufficient balance and that the account information is filled in correctly. Note that payment cards do not need to be in person. 2. Bank transfer: Under the guidance of the consultant, contact the apartment to obtain the receiving account information and complete the corresponding payment at the bank. Please include your name and ID in the remarks for easy identification. The wire transfer will take several working days to arrive, so please arrange payment in advance. 3. Phone payment: Call the property and provide the account information when completing the payment. 4. On-site payment: If you are a student who arrived early and the rental deadline has not expired, you can choose to pay on the spot at the front desk of the apartment.
Is a deposit required at the time of booking? What is the return process?
Deposit is a deposit and cannot be used to deduct rent. Once your booking is confirmed, your advance payment will be held by a third party in the UK until the end of the rental period and check-out. Depending on the extent of the damage to the room facilities, we will refund part or all of the advance payment (if there is serious damage, a certain amount of advance payment may be deducted, so please report any damage to the facilities in a timely manner).
Can I check in early?

If you need to check in early, please contact your advisor. If the apartment has suitable availability and meets your rental term requirements, you can accept the contract and pay the additional rent, and then we can arrange for you to move in early.
Do I need to pay house tax?
If you are a qualified full-time student, you will not be required to pay house tax. Proof of housing tax exemption from the university is required, if this information is not available at the time of check-in, make sure to bring the university's name and student ID number.
How long is the check-in time?
Check-in can begin at the time of signing the contract, if you arrive at the apartment outside of working hours, it is best to inform the apartment management in advance so that they can arrange your check-in.
How can I get my key card?
After check-in at the front desk, you can collect your key card at the front desk.
Can I entrust someone else to collect my key card?
Can only collect the key card by yourself.
Can I keep pets in the apartment?
No pets are allowed in the apartment.
How to apply for repair?
Make repair requests by using the apartment software Submit a repair request through the apartment's front desk
Can I smoke indoors?
To ensure the safety of the stay, the apartment is non-smoking and equipped with smoke alarms. If you need to smoke, please consult the front desk for the designated smoking areas.
