Unless you have already collected the accommodation keys, you can cancel the reservation before April 30, 2024, without any penalty. All cancellations must be made in writing via email to info@axostudent.co.uk, and if approved, all prepayments will be refunded to you. From May 1, 2024, unless you have already collected the accommodation keys, you can cancel the reservation at any time within 7 days after accepting the online reservation, either in writing or by emailing info@axostudent.co.uk. If you cancel the reservation, we will not charge any fees and will refund any prepayments. If the 7-day cooling-off period has passed, you must pay all amounts due under the lease unless a replacement tenant is found for your room. If a replacement tenant is found for your room before your move-in date, we will terminate your lease seven days after the new tenant signs the lease. If a replacement tenant is found for your room after your move-in date, we will terminate your lease seven days after the new tenant signs the lease or the date the replacement student moves in, whichever is earlier. If you have already moved in by this time, we will charge you £50.00 to cover the cost of preparing the room for the new tenant. No place No pay (Applicable only to first-year students, postgraduates, and retake students) -- If you are a first-year undergraduate student, postgraduate, or retake student, and your chosen university/higher education institution withdraws your admission due to your failure to meet the required grades, you may be eligible to terminate this agreement. If you are a first-year undergraduate student but choose another university due to exceeding expected grades, you are also eligible to terminate this agreement. To apply for termination in the above circumstances, you need to provide us with copies of the following documents: A written rejection letter from your chosen university/college or UCAS, or a UCAS status screenshot, proving that you did not meet the required grades; or A copy of the new university admission confirmation adjusted by UCAS. We must receive these documents within 7 calendar days from the date your results are announced. Please email the documents to info@axostudent.co.uk. After receiving the required documents, we will verify them, and if satisfied, we will cancel your agreement and refund any prepaid rent. Visa refusal cancellation - If your visa is refused, preventing you from entering the UK to study for a university degree, you can cancel the reservation without any contractual obligations, as long as you provide evidence of the visa refusal within 7 days after the letter/communication date. Upon receiving the required documents, we will verify them, and if satisfied, we will cancel your agreement and refund all prepayments. Important Notice: Please note that all required documents must be uploaded to the student portal when checking in. Failure to provide the necessary documents or make payments according to the payment schedule will result in students being unable to check in.
