What do you think are the better aspects of foreign countries compared to domestic ones?
Mainly, it's about inner freedom. Because moving to a new country without family or many friends, nobody really cares about me, so I can do whatever I want.
Domestic violence leads to imprisonment, child abuse results in the death penalty, and human traffickers get executed. 👍
No overtime, no 996, 25 days of annual leave, plus 8 public holidays, ten days of paid sick leave, an additional ten days for parents to take care of sick children, and compassionate leave for events like the passing of a loved one. Besides the UK's free public healthcare, if the queues are too long, our company provides private medical insurance, including dental care. Most importantly, I can work from home all year round. Salary increases every July and bonuses are given every February.
At 35, it's not a career hurdle; I'm still young and confident. Constantly feel warmth between strangers, no anxiety about appearance, no social intricacies, no worries about technology or tough work, and exceptionally friendly to stray animals.
During interviews, no questions about age, marital status, or childbirth – happily take maternity leave without conflicts with bosses, colleagues, or HR. Extended parental leave, encouraging dads to take time off for childcare, and no fear of losing the job after returning.
In the workplace (at least in my experience), no discrimination based on age or gender.
Let's discuss! 😄😄😄
