The location can be described as excellent, in Manchester's Gay Village, lively yet safe. Even on the ground floor, it's not noisy, with two layers of windows, and you can't hear much noise between each unit. The sound insulation is excellent.

It's very close to Piccadilly Garden and China Town. If you want to go grocery shopping, you can explore each store one by one. The closest ones are within a 5-minute walk, and the farthest ones are within 10 minutes. There are a total of 6-7 comprehensive supermarkets. It's also close to the North Campus, but it takes about a 20-minute walk to reach the University of Manchester's toilet building. Of course, the free bus 147 is not far away, and it takes about 3-4 minutes to walk to the bus stop.
