I finally found a student apartment at Edinburgh GS! | With explanation attached

Why are the student apartments in Edinburgh all gone?! Many of the GS properties are already taken, but I still want to live closer to the school. I had to wait for a long time to secure one, and I had many doubts in between. These are a few apartments that I was considering at the time and are still available: 1. Haddington Place Some rooms have a view of the Firth of Forth. Currently, only studio apartments are left. Price: Starting from £240 per week. Distance to Edinburgh GS: 1.2 miles. — 2. Fountainbridge Large windows, floor-to-ceiling windows. Free breakfast (Monday to Friday), coffee, and complimentary bike rental. Also offers internship guidance and entrepreneurship training. Currently, there are still studios and accessible rooms available. Price: Starting from £395 per week. Distance to Edinburgh GS: 1.1 miles. On a side note, this apartment has increased in price. Another building by the same brand, IONA STREET, is still available at the previous price starting from £273 per week. The facilities are basically the same, so if you like the amenities at Fountainbridge, I recommend choosing IONA STREET. — 3. Meadow Court Affordable, starting from £180 per week. Located next to George Square, so the surrounding environment is nice. The apartment was previously a traditional British building but was renovated in 2017 to become a student apartment. Good news is that there are still many rooms available, but the bad news is that they are ensuite. Distance to Edinburgh GS: 0.8 miles. — 4. Murieston Crescent Spacious rooms (20-40), and there are still many studios available. The price is also reasonable, starting from £235 per week. There is a Lidl and Haymarket train station nearby.
