I found a place in Brisbane for $329 a week. People say it's a great deal for a room in Brisbane. It's not a studio, but at least I'll have the whole room to myself. The kitchen is shared, but it's spacious. Each person has their own section in the fridge. I think it's perfect for me since I'll be living alone in the room. The budget is tight, and the commute to both the University of Queensland and the Queensland University of Technology is around 20 minutes. There's a bus stop right downstairs, so no need to walk much. Bills are included, and it's like we only need to pay a bit over $300 for rent. They even give an $800 card – that's almost three weeks' rent!
