It's really difficult to find social housing type apartments on Aibao (a housing platform), isn't it? There are more houses available, but when it comes to apartment types, it's either a waiting list or limited to students. Landlords are afraid that students won't be able to afford the rent, sigh! I saw a 1-bedroom apartment available for rent recently, priced at £1800 per month, including internet but excluding other bills. It's located in the city center, close to the train station, and a 20-minute walk to ECA&GS (presumably a school). I have to say, finding a place to rent is quite challenging at the moment. Student apartments are basically sold out, so all that's left is to wait for someone to sublet. There are many social housing options that haven't opened yet, and many students need to finalize their apartment arrangements before going back to their home countries for the summer. It's all about scheduling viewings, and I can only say that this year is quite hectic.
