Is Australia really suitable for ordinary families to study abroad? In such a place, if you're willing to endure a bit of hardship, you can actually cover part of your expenses on your own. And if you work hard enough, having some savings is totally achievable. At least for someone like me, who's been through some tough times, it's pretty good. The part-time wages in Australia are calculated per day, and it's over a thousand bucks a day. When I got paid for the first time, I couldn't believe I could earn that much in just one day. It felt unreal. Later, I realized this place is really suitable for me. Because I don't have a lot of entertainment activities to attend to.
If I didn't have to go to school, I'd work like crazy here. When I first arrived, I couldn't speak the language, so I could only do some odd jobs like dishwashing. But now, after almost half a year, communication is not much of an issue, so I can take on some higher-paying service jobs. And now, I even have a little bit of savings. I don't know if this counts as a life reset, but going abroad for study has definitely changed the course of my life. And importantly, there's no overtime required. Even if you do work overtime, you'll definitely get paid for it.
