Firstly, Fortnum & Mason in London gave me an unforgettable English afternoon tea experience. Stepping into this upscale department store with over 300 years of history, I was deeply captivated by its exquisite decor and elegant atmosphere. Tasting the various delicacies, such as the soft and delicious scones, the diverse selection of sandwiches, and the delightful desserts, every bite made me feel the charm of English afternoon tea.
Next, at The Scran & Scallie in Edinburgh, I discovered traditional Scottish cuisine. The haggis and Scottish smoked salmon offered by this restaurant broadened my horizons, allowing me to experience the unique flavors of Scotland. The cozy ambiance combined with authentic food gave me a whole new appreciation for Scottish cuisine.
Meanwhile, Cadbury World in Birmingham was a highlight of my journey. As a chocolate enthusiast, I found paradise here. From observing the chocolate-making process to tasting various chocolates, every step was incredibly exciting. I even brought back plenty of chocolates as gifts to share with my friends.
In Cornwall, I savored the most authentic British fish and chips. Standing by the seaside, feeling the sea breeze, and enjoying the crispy golden fish and chips, it was a wonderful memory of my time in the UK.
Lastly, during my visit to York, I couldn't miss Bettys Café Tea Rooms. This historic tea room not only offered delicious scones and rich afternoon tea sets but also left a lasting impression with its elegant ambiance. Every pastry was exquisitely adorable, leaving a lingering taste in my mouth.
