Renting for two years ❗ Found out the landlord is in jail nearing the end, what to do??

So, here's the deal. The lease was for two years, and the rent was paid in one go. I didn't really keep in touch with the landlord much, only met them when I moved in, and it's been ages since then. Now I'm planning to move out, but I can't reach the landlord. Later I found out they got jailed. What should I do in this situation? I've never encountered anything like this before.
