Booking early is definitely better, but there's no need to be too anxious. Later on, there will be people changing rooms, and you might get lucky with what you find. It's all about luck, really.

1️⃣ Top picks: Vita/White Rose/Sky Plaza/YPP/IQ
These places are great, with supermarkets and various shops right at the doorstep. You'll find everything you need just by going downstairs – and it's about a 12-minute walk to school. If you find the prices too high, I'd recommend the en-suites with a bit more space; if you care a lot about having a washing machine, go for a studio with its own.
2️⃣ Second tier: CitySide/YPP 27-34 Clarendon Road/Sycamore
All these options come with a washing machine, and most are studios. They're really quiet and super convenient for school, and also close to the gym. They're a bit further from the city center, though, and there aren't big supermarkets nearby. You might have to shop at Tesco and the Chinese supermarket on your way back from school, or at the Tesco near Edge.
3️⃣ Third tier: Vita1/YPP Live Oasis/Symons House
Right in the city center, with a direct route to the Chinese supermarket, other supermarkets, restaurants, and everything else you might need for shopping. The Ibis is also nearby, perfect for those who love dining out, shopping, and bustling places! The prices are okay, slightly cheaper than prime locations. Actually, it only takes 2-3 minutes longer to walk to school, so if you enjoy lively places, these options are worth considering!
