Finally understand why it's so difficult to rent a social apartment in Melbourne.
1. Because it's hard to apply, and we don't have any rental history in Australia. After all, it's our first time studying abroad in Melbourne, and the landlord also requires an offline viewing.
2. Finally found a house, you never know if you have to raise the price to secure it, because bidding is also common.
3. If you want to apply for public housing, you need to prepare a lot of things, like visa, passport, bank statements, COE, and all sorts of miscellaneous stuff.
4. And landlords usually prioritize professionals because they have a stable income. Students don't have a fixed income, so there's not much advantage in finding public housing.
But!
Even though it's difficult, it doesn't mean we can't live in public housing. It's just that if we apply by ourselves, there are many procedures we don't understand, and it's quite troublesome to handle.

There are 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and 1 bedroom 1 bathroom, and even three-bedroom options.
Applying isn't difficult, but it's a bit tricky for us who don't understand renting operations. If you want to know which layout, I'll sort out the apartment information, floor, layout, configuration, photos, and videos for you.
Oh, and all the rooms are furnished, and as for appliances, the basics are covered, like washing machines, central air conditioning, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, etc.
