"Those Years When I Was Working as a Jack-of-all-trades in Sydney for the Young Master 🐮🐴"
On a starving afternoon in Sydney, I luckily got hired as the young master's life assistant. The salary isn't high, but the main selling point is being a jack-of-all-trades.
The young master is super social, as if the whole world is his friend, but his self-care ability is basically zero. My main job is to pick him up from and drop him off at school, and lend a hand when he's short of players in his games (which is rare, possibly because I'm too bad and make them work too hard). Occasionally, when his classmates come over for a party, I'll moonlight as a bartender, or I'll cook a meal when the young master wants Chinese food. Oh, and there's daily cleaning and walking the dog twice a day (with dog butler.jpg).
Fortunately, meals and accommodation are provided, so there's no need to run around.
Sometimes I won't see the young master for a whole week, most likely because he's gone traveling with friends or staying at a friend's house. But luckily, the young master is very considerate and will always give me a heads-up in advance (mostly to help keep it a secret from his dad).
Sometimes, when he wants to take the dog on a road trip, he'll also take me along (strange), mainly because driving can be shared between two people, which makes it a lot easier.
After spending time together, we're not like boss and employee, but more like friends.
I used to think that someone like the young master, who seems to float in the sky, wouldn't have any worries. But recently, he's been feeling down every day, not hosting parties or playing games anymore. I had to press him for an answer, and he finally told me:
"Please, help me sublet a 1B1B1S in Mascot, Sydney. It's clean, tidy, well-lit, with a super large bedroom and bathroom, great value for money, a kitchen with a reasonable layout, and comes with a washing machine and refrigerator! It's suitable for a 24S1 lease for 26 weeks! The study can be used as a butler's room or as a dressing room for unused bags and clothes! It turns out that the young master's family is a mysterious one. During his studies abroad, his mother found out that his father had affairs with mistresses, even having a fifth one, leading to arguments and the young master's living expenses being cut off! To help the young master buy a plane ticket back home, please, all you kind-hearted friends, rent his house! Help him be filial to his father (and let me enjoy some gossip)!!!"
