1️⃣ Walking to school: Exercise or ordeal?
I live in building C, which is a 15-20 minute walk from the college. For WMG or other colleges? Um, that's even further. To avoid being late, better leave early!
Nearby amenities: Tesco, Aldi, Wilko, as well as Korean and Chinese supermarkets, are a 20-25 minute walk away. For a week's worth of groceries, consider bringing a small cart!
2️⃣ Service attitude: The front desk is sometimes sweet, sometimes sour.
There's someone on duty 24 hours a day, and daytime responses are quick. But don't expect much at night. If you have a problem, it's usually fixed by the next day. Like when my bedside socket was buzzing, it was fixed the next day!
3️⃣ Public facilities: More than just studying, it's fun too!
There are study rooms here, TV screens for casting, watching sports, as well as pool tables and a gaming area. Both old and new buildings have laundry rooms with washing machines and dryers.
4️⃣ Suite selection: A small room in a big world!
The kitchen has an induction cooker, along with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and grill. The kitchen is huge, but the rooms are tiny. However, the bed (1.35*2m), wardrobe, and amenities are decent.
