Don't be fooled 😤 Melbourne 🇦🇺 rental strategy is here.
Don't get tricked anymore 😤 Melbourne 🇦🇺 renting guide is here!
Melbourne has the CBD area. CBD, as the name suggests, is prime location, convenient for transportation 🚗 and daily life, bustling at night. But the downside ❌ is the high rent ❗️
Southbank area
The surroundings are very nice, with developed commercial areas, convenient transportation 🚗, not as congested as CBD, but the apartments aren't as new as CBD.
Docklands area
Great environment, free tram zone, but slightly far from schools, taking tram for over 30 minutes.
North Melbourne area
Also, a very nice environment, but not in the free tram 🚃 zone, so you need to spend money to go anywhere.
Next is the question of where to live⁉️
Generally, international students have two choices.
First: Student apartments 🏠
The advantage is hassle-free, minimal responsibilities, and safe‼️ Bills included, move-in ready ✅
The downside is small space and slightly expensive 💰
Second: Shared apartments 🏠
The advantage is larger space and cheaper when shared.
The downside is no bills included, no furniture provided, need to handle utilities and furniture purchase yourself 🪑 Some unscrupulous agents deliberately withhold bonds 😡
