Extreme skydiving in Melbourne πͺ There's really no need to bring these things π
On the fourth day in Melbourne, let me share with you some regrets and things I wish I had brought.
β Regrets for bringing:
1. Electric blanket - the room has constant heating at 26 degrees Celsius, and it's not too cold outside. Just a shirt with a windbreaker during the day, and jeans are enough. (βAdding to this, some friends said if the room can't have the heater on for a long time, an electric blanket is still necessary).
2. Bath towels - Who said we needed to bring bath towels? They're so easy to buy!
3. Slippers - Trust me, you don't need to bring them. If you must, bring a pair that doesn't take up much space. Kmart is a good place to get them.
4. Four-piece bedding set - This one depends. Kmart has cheap ones with decent quality, around 400 RMB for pure cotton. But the bedding set and electric blanket take up too much space, so I regret not bringing more clothes.

Regrets for not bringing:
1. Facial cleanser - You have to buy facial cleanser from a drugstore here. Coles and WWL don't have anything special. I've been using the soap provided by the apartment for the past couple of days.
2. Overcoat - Now is the time for overcoats and windbreakers. I only brought one overcoat, but I haven't found a suitable one in several malls.
3. Chopsticks - It's advisable to bring a pair. I didn't know they had Daiso here. I went to three supermarkets looking for chopsticks, and the ones at small Chinese supermarkets are ridiculously expensive, 19 dollars for 10 pairs.
Adding two more things I think are worth bringing:
1. 1.8L electric pressure cooker - You can cook a bowl of rice with one-third of a cup and also use it to cook instant noodles or snail noodles with the lid open. Pretty practical.
2. Instant hot water dispenser - I bought a mini one, and it can dispense hot water instantly, making tea is very convenient.
Actually, there's not much else. Things are easy to find in Melbourne, with Coles, Kmart, Daiso, WWL, Ikea, and Chinese supermarkets, you can pretty much buy anything.
π‘ A small tip: I don't like tangled wires. I bought a 1.2m extension cord, but it's not long enough. I suggest bringing a longer one, or if it's too short, Kmart sells extension cords, but they don't look too good.
