⭕️Cancellation of PTE Online scores has become a consensus.
✅️For those who were involuntarily affected, they are being offered a voucher for an offline exam since the exam fee is non-refundable. Regardless of whether students accept it or not, they have only 7⃣ days to respond.
✅️The reason behind the cancellation of PTE Online scores is the high number of cheating incidents. Unfortunately, some innocent students have also been affected, which is truly unfair. 😫
✅️What is the current situation?
👀For those whose PTE language scores have been cancelled, they can obtain an offer by taking another language exam. However, for most students who have been deemed as cheaters by the institutions, even if they achieve acceptable scores in future language exams, the schools will not reconsider their admissions. This is the cost of cheating. ❗️
✅️How should mainland Chinese candidates deal with cancelled PTE Online scores?
⚠️⚠️Regarding issues of being locked out or cancelled:
1️⃣Request a delay in submitting language scores
Contact the school as soon as possible after discovering that language scores have been locked, explain the situation truthfully, and request an extension for submitting language scores. Stay in touch with Pearson through various means such as email and phone to receive the latest updates.
2️⃣Take the PTE offline exam
The PTE offline exam lasts for 2 hours and results can be obtained within 2 days. Currently, there are test centers available in multiple cities in mainland China.
⚠️⚠️❗️To be on the safe side, make sure to confirm with the school beforehand if they accept this exam score.
3️⃣Take other language exams
If the university allows for the replacement of language scores, search for all the language exams accepted by the chosen program, take another language proficiency exam, obtain a new language score certificate, and submit it.
