What is it like to squeeze with friends in a 20-square-meter apartment in Sydney?
What other feelings can there be besides feeling crowded?
If you're wondering why I chose such a small room, it's because most student apartments in Sydney are like this.
Even larger studios can go up to 30 square meters, and they're not cheap either.
The above comments come from a student who is fed up with living in a student apartment and is willing to pay the penalty to move out.
When I was helping him look for branded apartments, he and his friend vented their frustrations to me, and in the end, they quickly found a new place.
So, for students who don't want to feel crowded, we don't have to choose student apartments. It would be great to have a branded apartment that is 50-60 square meters or even larger.
For example, these commonly seen branded apartments, you can find exactly what you want by searching one by one.
1. Zetland: There are Asian supermarkets and Chinese restaurants nearby, with a vibrant atmosphere. It is located between the University of Sydney and UNSW, making it convenient for students from both universities to live here.
2. Green Square: The train station is right downstairs, and the famous Instagrammable library is also in this area. It has a strong commercial atmosphere, and shopping and entertainment are really enjoyable.
3. Rosebery: The prices here are lower than Zetland, and there are many affordable large rooms. It is a bit further from the University of Sydney, so the prices are lower, but the surrounding amenities are still convenient, with plenty of dining options.
4. Haymarket: Located in Chinatown, it is a popular location for international students.
5. Chippendale: Have you heard of Sydney's "Grass Building"? It's located here, a building covered in moss and known as a famous spot in Sydney. UTS is just across the street, the University of Sydney is on the left, and there is a shopping street and commercial area downstairs. It can be said to be a dream place for students to live, but the prices for the Grass Building are indeed expensive.
If you're looking for a place to live in Sydney and feel that student apartments are too small, why not take a look at these options? It will open the door to a new world for you. 🐶
