Is AUD 10,000 per month enough in Sydney? Seeking recommendations from senior students in Sydney!

I am a student at the University of Sydney, currently looking for a house. The prices are too high. I wanted to ask if a monthly budget of $10,000 is enough. I am looking for a room with a private bathroom. I usually cook my own meals and don't do much shopping. I am quite introverted, so I don't spend much on social activities. If it's not enough, are there any good part-time job options?
