Wallingford is home to Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo and the popular Gas Works Park, a 19-acre green space. In the summer, the park hosts fireworks displays on the 4th of July. There's also an annual parade for children and a sausage festival. Wallingford has limited public transportation.
