The Delauneys on Aldwich does scrumptious breakfasts. For an everyday treat, try the Redemption Roasters, right at the end of Whetstone Park. If you head towards the river, cross Lincolns Inn Fields and behind the Royal Courts of Justice, on Carey Street, you can find the Seven Stars pub, one of the oldest in London. Its not on the tourists map and you might spot a judge still wearing his wig. On Lincolns Inn Fields, you will find Sir John Soanes Museum. One of the smaller, less-known museums, it is well worth a visit. We also recommend the Courtauld Gallery in Somerset House: it is tiny compared to the neighbouring National Gallery, but its treasures will amaze you. If youre more sports-oriented, you can book the tennis court within Lincolns Inn Fields. Theres a medium-sized Sainsburys on the top corner of Kingsway, in front of Holborn station. Walking towards Chancery Lane station, you can find Marks and Spencers Simply Food. The nearest cash point is inside Holborn Station.
