Cooling-off period The apartment offers a 7-day cooling-off period after receiving your prepayment. If no prepayment is required, the 7-day "cooling-off period" starts from your booking confirmation email. If you cancel the lease during the cooling-off period, you will no longer be responsible for the contractual obligations stipulated in the lease agreement, and the apartment will refund your prepayment. If you have already checked in and collected the keys, please refer to the cancellation section after check-in. Check-out after cooling-off period If you wish to cancel the reservation after the 7-day cooling-off period, you will still be responsible for the contractual obligations listed in the lease agreement. Exceptions may be considered if evidence is provided for the following: • Your UK visa application has been rejected. • You have not obtained the qualifications required to enter your chosen first university. • Situations causing deterioration in health conditions, such as poor health or family situations. If evidence is required, it must be sent by email to the website, and then the cancellation request will be considered. If you fail to obtain university grades or your UK visa is rejected, you must provide evidence as soon as possible and at least within 72 hours of receiving notice and send it by email to the website. Upon receipt of proof, the apartment will cancel your reservation and refund your prepayment rent. If you fail to provide evidence within 72 hours, your prepayment rent will be retained. If you hold AST or PRT through university nomination, this may vary, please contact your personal accommodation team on site for more details. All requests for cancellation must be made in writing by email to the website where you made the reservation. Once you have checked in and collected the keys, you lose the right to cancel the lease. Unless your lease agreement is found with a suitable replacement, you are liable for the full rent. Only when a suitable replacement is found, they complete the lease and pay the due rent, will you be relieved of your lease obligations, and if the room is returned in acceptable condition, the apartment will refund your deposit. If you withdraw from university due to circumstances that may mitigate responsibility, please contact your on-site operations manager directly, who will provide further advice.
