A Programmer's Trip to Melbourne: My Deep Brotherhood with the Boss!

As a programmer in a tech company, I was lucky enough to be chosen by my boss to go to Melbourne for a major project. The salary is not too high, but the main selling point is the opportunity itself. My boss is incredibly impressive, a big shot in the industry. My job mainly involves learning programming, development, testing, optimization, occasional overtime, and also taking care of his dog and reminding him of meetings by making PowerPoint presentations. Our relationship is not like that of a boss and employee, but more like brothers. However, he has been a bit troubled lately as some cunning competitors have taken over his company. Now he wants to reclaim what is rightfully his, even if it means renting out his own house because he is running out of money. Although he hasn't told me, I cannot forget his kindness.
