How to refund a deposit
After vacating the property, the deposit will be refunded by RTBA.
How to renew the lease
A few months prior, the apartment will email tenants to confirm if they wish to renew the lease. Students need to respond and sign the renewal contract upon receiving confirmation from the apartment.
How to cancel a lease
Automatic check-out occurs at the end of the lease. To terminate the lease early, contact the apartment. Subletting is allowed according to Victoria regulations.
How to sublet
Approval from the apartment is required. The current tenant must find a subtenant, who will then sign a new contract with the apartment for the remaining rental period.
