Where do Leeds students live? Seeing the offers coming in for junior students, it's time to start looking for housing. This old sister stayed up all night putting together a housing guide 🧭 hoping to help everyone out. When I first started looking for a house, it was really a headache, trying to balance budget and quality.
👉 **Independent Washing Machine:**
If you don't want to share a washing machine with others, or if you're a bit of a neat freak 👀
1. **Trapezium**: Newly built apartments from 23, all studio-style with independent washing machines in each room. They also have large floor-to-ceiling windows for good lighting. There are still a few south-facing ones available. The facilities are complete with a gym, etc., and the best part: no stairs to climb!
2. **Sycamore**: A well-established Leeds apartment with its own small garden, opposite a park ⛲️ so it's relatively quiet. It's closer to the school and city center compared to Trapezium, with larger room layouts, but it takes about 10 minutes to get to the supermarket.
3. **Trinity Hall**: Located north of Leeds University, surrounded by residential areas, close to the Engineering College and Parkinson Building. There's a convenience store behind the apartment, but it's a bit far from the city center.
👉 **City Center:**
If you prefer the city center and want convenience for shopping:
1. **Vita**: No need to say much about this apartment, one of the top apartments in the UK. Some layouts come with dishwashers, terraces, and double-sided floor-to-ceiling windows! Excellent facilities and services with free breakfast on weekdays, bread, fruit, etc., 24-hour coffee ☕️, free cleaning every two weeks, various shopping malls and restaurants downstairs, gym, rooftop terrace, etc.
2. **Symons House**: Next to Vita1, offering ensuite, studio, and 2b2b layouts (1b is sold out). Newly decorated, modern, popular among our international students from China, equipped with a gym, cinema, laundry room, etc., convenient for shopping.
3. **IQ Altus**: The tallest building in Leeds, great for photos! Excellent views from the high floors! Layouts include ensuite and studio, highly recommended for the ensuite rooms, offering great value for money!
That's all for now [Haha R]. Any questions, see you in the comments section [Raising Hand R].
