International students, don't ever share accommodation with others.

Just stumbled upon a post where a girl said that on the first day in her new dorm, the fridge got locked by her Korean roommate. It reminded me of my first year abroad with a roommate from country H. They always brought friends over, super noisy, left the common areas in a mess daily, and never cleaned up, even after complaints. After the lease ended, I quickly moved to my own studio. Despite having less shared space, it was pure bliss.
