If I could do my studies over at Monash University in Australia, I'd definitely take the advice this time.
Studying abroad ain't a walk in the park, but when opportunities arise, seize 'em! 💪
️⃣ Can't even begin to describe how my professors lecture... Don't forget about our esteemed YouTube University though! 🙃
️⃣ Avoid those early morning classes like the plague, even mornings altogether. Ideal student life? Early to bed, early to rise, diligent in studies. Reality hits different: "Wait, Tom's got an 8 a.m. class?" My bed needs me; it's been my ride or die since day one! 😭
️⃣ At the start of term, courses get freshened up. Remember to snag the syllabus for your picks this semester; it's your roadmap for the course content and how the whole shebang's laid out. Scope out those assessments too. Some courses drop essays/quizzes/assignments/tests with their syllabus. Set up calendar reminders for these crucial deadlines to avoid slip-ups.
️⃣ Attend both lectures and tutorials. Sure, lectures might not track attendance, but soaking in that knowledge from the professor helps us understand and master the material. 🚶
️⃣ When making friends, character counts more than anything else. ❗️
️⃣ Don't trust your brain too much. You might forget dinner plans, let alone remembering your classes, assignments due, or exams. So, lean on your calendar. 🧠
️⃣ Need academic resources? Hit up the school library; it's basically a goldmine, and it's all free. 📖
️⃣ Sync your student email to your phone for easy reminders. Check the LMS every couple of days to catch any important updates. 📮
