Who understands studying abroad in Australia? Sorry, it's inconvenient to cook when sharing an apartment.

The other day I moved to Sydney and started sharing an apartment. My room has a bathroom, so besides doing laundry, I hardly ever leave my room. I can only do simple things in my room. I feel embarrassed to cook in the kitchen because it's awkward when I run into my roommates 😅. But I still want to cook for myself, though 😅. Wondering if my Aussie mates out there feel the same way.
