My dad suddenly said that he didn't expect that I would come back from studying abroad with a Master's degree and that his daughter had grown up and matured. To be honest, I also feel that I have changed a lot since studying abroad. Before studying abroad, I was a clumsy girl who knew nothing about housework, couldn't cook, clean, tidy up, or even tell the difference between scallions, ginger, and garlic. I was also overwhelmed when it came to handling all the paperwork before leaving the country, and my dad had to take care of everything for me. After studying abroad, I became a warrior princess. I learned how to make various Sichuan dishes, healthy salads, and baking, and I only then realized that purple cabbage turns blue when heated. I also became very independent and could handle everything by myself, from finding and renting a house in a foreign country to carrying 5L of water and other necessities back home, to installing furniture and even learning how to change light bulbs and fix pipes. My action ability has also become stronger and I have my own opinions. When unexpected situations arise, I no longer panic but calmly think of solutions. After returning home, I arranged the whole trip for my family and they all felt that I had really grown up.
