I have never lived in a student dormitory before, so I'm avoiding it like the plague.
Because I didn't want to share a laundry room, I always stayed in a regular apartment. Today I'm sharing Queens Place (abbreviated as QP) which I have stayed in before. When the sun sets and the lights of the city turn on, it's really calming.
QP has amenities such as 24 hour reception, a pool, spa and sauna, modern fitness facilities, and entertainment areas. It's also within walking distance to the famous Queen Victoria Market, Chinatown, Bourke Street Mall, and local green spaces. You can even go to the Crown Casino for fun. Plus, it's right next to the Friends building.
For student apartments, the size is small, but do any of you have experience with the laundry rooms? Are they really not clean? When I rent an apartment next time, I'm considering looking into student apartments.
