First time going to Australia? Don't worry, just follow these few steps. 🐶
Do you think everything will be fine once you have an office? No, no, there's still a lot you need to do.
1⃣️Modify your phone's location settings in advance, download Uber, link your Visa card so that you can easily take a taxi upon arrival.
2⃣️Apply for a photo ID.
A photo ID is equivalent to a national ID card in China. Even international students can apply for it. It can be used as a substitute for a passport and has an address, making it very convenient for entry into places that require a passport.
3⃣️Bring some cash, but not too much (don't ask me why) 🐶
4⃣️Get a phone card, which can be purchased at the school's supermart or at a service center. Some plans are very cheap, around 100 AUD per year.
5⃣️Don't bring too much luggage, as most things can be bought in Australia. Kmart and Target are two supermarkets that offer affordable prices and cover almost all daily necessities. Don't bring pots, bowls, ladles, or pans. I repeat, don't bring them. Bring only essential items and travel light. Trust me, it's the right thing to do. 😼
