On the day of move-in, tenants will receive an inventory checklist, which must be completed and returned to the leasing office within 7 days. Inspect all facilities in the room and note any existing damages on the checklist; if there is any damage present at the time of move-out that wasn't noted on the checklist, you may incur a fee. If damages are noted on the checklist at move-in, tenants will not be held responsible for those prior damages when moving out.

If the lease is canceled after the Voiding Date, all tenants remain liable. Sections eleven and twelve of the rental agreement specify the responsibilities of tenants wishing to terminate the agreement before or after moving in, with a penalty of $250 and reimbursement of all promotional or discount funds being required. Furthermore, tenants are responsible for ongoing rent payments until the apartment is re-rented.
