How can I pay the rent?

Please access your apartment's Student Portal, click on 'Review/Pay Statement' to enter the payment interface. Check the box in front of the payment item you want to pay, then click 'pay' to proceed. The apartment supports online card payments (credit cards accepted) or bank transfers. 1. For online card payments, make sure your card is one of the following types: Mastercard/Visa/Visa Debit/Visa Electron. Carefully fill in the cardholder information and ensure the card has sufficient funds, and that the bank supports this transaction. Note that the card does not need to be held by you. 2. For bank transfers, contact the apartment for the transfer account under your advisor's guidance, and complete the payment at the bank afterward. However, please note that wire transfers may take several business days to process, so plan your payments in advance.

Is the deposit I paid during booking a security deposit? How do I get it back?

The deposit is a security deposit and does not offset the rent. After completing the booking, your deposit will be handed over to a third-party institution in the UK for safekeeping until the end of the rental period, at which point it will be refunded based on the condition of the room's facilities (serious damages may lead to deductions from the deposit, so please report any facility damages in a timely manner).
