Of course! You can choose your preferred floor, apartment, and room number. Your accommodation team can assist you in finding the best room for you.

All of our student residences are smoke-free, so please use the designated smoking areas outside the building or in the courtyard.

Most of our buildings do not have designated visitor parking spaces, but there are parking options nearby. Please contact the accommodation team of your chosen building for more information.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Unlike many other providers, we do not require you to pay a deposit to secure your booking. We require you to pay the rent in advance, which will be deducted from your first rental payment. It's like giving yourself a little gift as September arrives!

How do I do laundry?

How do I make a booking?

Of course! If you're interested in living with friends in a shared apartment, let us know who you'd like to live with, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that we are more likely to arrange this earlier, as many accommodations tend to fill up quickly as we approach September.

How do I know who I will be living with?

For privacy reasons, we do not disclose names, but you can better understand who you will be living with by accessing the resident groups we share before you check in or by requesting your onsite team for information such as gender, year, and university.

Can I cancel after booking?

We have a 5-day 'cooling-off period.' This means that if you need to cancel your booking, as long as you have not checked in, you can cancel within 5 days of signing the rental agreement. If you need to cancel after the 'cooling-off period,' we may allow cancellation in certain circumstances, such as your UK visa being declined or your grades not meeting the admission requirements of the university you've chosen. Please make sure to send us these documents within 72 hours of receiving your UCAS notification or refusal letter. If you find a qualified replacement tenant, you can also transfer your obligations to someone else. We will need to conduct some checks to confirm their eligibility, but once everything goes smoothly, they will take over the rental agreement.

Guests are welcome to stay in your room, however, residents can only have one overnight guest at a time and it cannot exceed two consecutive nights, provided it does not disturb or annoy other residents in the building.

Connecting to the internet is very simple - just connect your device to the Wi-Fi network upon arrival. You can also use an Ethernet cable and plug it into the network socket on the wall in your room.

What am I not allowed to do in the accommodation?

For health and safety reasons, we prohibit the use of candles, incense burners, deep fryers, or any appliances that do not comply with UK standards and regulations. We also do not allow the use of electric scooters or other alternative products. Please do not bring such items into the premises.

We conduct room inspections three times a year and occasionally perform health and safety checks, but we will always notify you at least 24 hours in advance before entering your room.

Yes, during your stay, your room will be subject to at least three maintenance checks. Any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items will be recorded and addressed. After each inspection, you will be informed of any issues found and whether you need to pay any costs.

Do I need to move out during the holidays?

No, you do not need to vacate your room during the holiday period. Your room is yours for the entire rental period, and you only need to move out at the end of your contract.

What should I do if I want to stay over the summer?

You can book a room for the whole year (51 weeks), or choose a short-term rental (if available) and extend your stay over the summer. Please contact the accommodation team at your chosen location for more details.

Can I still receive deliveries?

Depending on your location, your mail may be delivered directly by Royal Mail or collected from the onsite mailbox. You can pick up larger packages at the reception, but unfortunately, we do not take responsibility for any loss or damage.
