The kitchen areas in the studios are laid with carpet and vinyl wood flooring, and en-suite kitchens are equipped with two refrigerators, providing each resident with their own space. Each studio and one-bedroom apartment also has its own refrigerator. Although there are no televisions in the rooms, there are TV access points in both the living areas and kitchens, allowing students to bring their own televisions while needing to purchase a TV license. The apartment offers 50mb internet connectivity, and the rooms and kitchens utilize a timed electric convection heating system which automatically shuts off when the set time is reached or when the indoor temperature reaches 26°C to ensure night safety, although they can be turned back on at any time. Additionally, the apartment features a 24-hour laundry room, a communal study area, and a large leisure zone equipped with a 40-inch HD TV and WiFi for resident use. The property also provides secure bike storage and paid parking spaces, costing £15 per week. Location and Surroundings Crown House is conveniently located near the London Road campus of the University of Reading, just a 5-minute walk away, and only a little over 20 minutes' walk from the Whiteknights campus. There is a bus stop directly across from the apartment that offers services to the campus, with buses running every 20 minutes around the clock. A 15-minute walk will take you to Buzz Gym, a partner of the apartment where students do not need to pay a membership fee and can access it for just £20 a month. The city center/Oracle Riverside, known for its numerous shops, restaurants, and facilities such as cinemas, is only a 5-minute walk away, with the majority of restaurants offering takeaway services. A Tesco supermarket is located immediately to the left of the apartment, and another Sainsbury's supermarket is just a 5-minute walk away, making daily shopping very convenient.
