Morriss House

Morriss House officially opened in September 2023 and features 700 bedrooms, located on Derby Road in the student community center of Lenton. This building is named after the founder of the world-famous Raleigh Bicycle Company and is situated along the River Leen, close to the Jubilee Campus of the University of Nottingham. It takes less than a 10-minute walk from your doorstep to reach campus facilities. Each room is equipped with an en-suite bathroom and a shared kitchen, with the option of studio rooms that include private kitchens for those who prefer more privacy. The communal areas are designed to help you meet new friends, socialize, and study. The games room, equipped with gaming consoles, karaoke, and a pool table, along with study rooms suitable for both individual and group learning, creates a conducive environment for studying. Additionally, there are ample seating areas for relaxing and chatting. A 15-minute bus ride will take you to Nottingham city center, where you can find a variety of bars, pubs, restaurants, and shops. Alternatively, you can stay in the Lenton area and enjoy the local cinemas, restaurants, or pubs.
