- <p>Our top priority is always the safety of our students. iQ Student Accommodation implements proactive fire safety measures, ensuring that all properties are deemed safe for habitation by independent fire engineers. These measures include:</p><ul><li><p>Smoke or heat detectors, as well as possible sprinkler systems, wet risers, and automatic smoke ventilation systems, may be installed in each bedroom and kitchen according to the building design, along with certain structures.</p></li><li><p>All our buildings are equipped with fire detection systems.</p></li><li><p>On-site staff undergo training 24/7 to actively manage fire safety issues, including how to respond to fire alarms, conducting induction training for residents, regular building inspections, weekly sound tests, and periodic fire drills.</p></li><li><p>In most of our buildings, fire alarms are linked to central monitoring services through Red Care.</p></li></ul><p>All fire safety systems are maintained according to UK standards, and only national contractors (employing certified qualified personnel) are responsible. The fire safety systems at iQ Student Accommodation are regularly inspected by external qualified risk assessors and audited by internal professional health and safety officers.</p>
