We always prioritize the safety of our students. iQ Student Accommodation implements proactive fire safety measures, with all properties confirmed safe for residence by independent fire engineers. These measures include smoke or heat detectors possibly installed in each bedroom and kitchen, as well as sprinkler systems, wet risers, and automatic smoke ventilation systems. Additionally, all buildings are equipped with fire detection systems. Our staff undergoes 24-hour training to actively address fire safety issues, including how to respond to fire alarms, training residents during onboarding, conducting regular building inspections, weekly bell tests, and scheduled fire drills. The vast majority of our buildings' fire alarms are connected to a central monitoring service via Red Care. All fire safety systems are maintained daily according to UK standards, and only qualified contractors are responsible for them. The fire safety systems at iQ student accommodations are regularly inspected by external qualified risk assessors and audited by internal health and safety professionals.
