Students who have booked with Unite Students are advised that, to promote a fair accommodation environment, the property will conduct three random checks within a few weeks after the booking (students who booked recently may also be checked), with the following details: 1. Check methods: email/phone, etc. 2. Materials needed: the university admission letter or a screenshot from the university portal showing the student’s name and sufficient information to confirm the completion of the application process. 3. Third-party verification: the property may verify the authenticity of student information with their respective universities. If a student does not respond to any of the three contacts, their reservation will be marked as questionable and, if unable to contact the student, the reservation will be canceled. Please be cautious and check that the contact information provided during the apartment application process is correct, and if you have any questions, please contact your assigned advisor immediately!

For online payment, log into your Unite Students account, go to the Payments page, enter the amount you need to pay and click the Pay button to provide your card information. If you're using a UK debit card, select the Debit option and ensure the billing address is set to a UK address; if using a Chinese credit card, choose the Credit option and keep the billing address in China. For bank transfers, log into your Unite Students account, download the Bank Transfer Info file, and contact your bank in advance, taking the necessary documents to either the bank counter or a self-service transfer machine to make the transfer. When making the transfer, be sure to include your personal reservation information in the reference section (as required in the bank_transfer_info file). Bank transfers are not usually instant, so it's advised to initiate the transfer 1-2 weeks prior to the due date to ensure funds arrive on time. Please remember that banks may charge fees for international payments, so ensure that the amount you pay includes both rent and fees to guarantee it reaches the correct amount.
