Is it allowed for couples to book the same room?

Couples may book studios and one-bedroom apartments, but an additional charge of £1000-1500 for double occupancy is required on top of the single room rate.

Is my reservation deposit refundable? Will there be any costs if I cancel before check-in?

Accepted Answer

Once the reservation is completed, the booking deposit is non-refundable unless a suitable tenant is found. After signing the lease, the full rent payment must be made until the next legitimate tenant moves in. If unable to occupy the reserved city due to UK visa rejection or inability to obtain a university offer, the booking deposit remains non-refundable. You may cancel the contract, but you must provide confirmation within 7 days of receiving a rejection from the immigration office or the university, including: - A written notice from the selected university or institution, or written proof from UCAS, - or valid screenshot evidence proving inability to enroll in the selected institution or acceptance letter from a new university offered by UCAS.

Does the apartment provide laundry facilities?

Forest Court is an apartment complex that offers the convenience of an automatic laundry service. Each wash costs £2.50 and drying your clothes costs £1.50. For more information, please inquire with the property manager. In the Forest Rise, Kingfisher Halls, The Block, and Radmoor Halls in Loughborough, the washing machines and dryers are provided free of charge! In Leicester, both Regent Road and Renaissance House also offer free access to washing machines and dryers!

What should I do if my roommate is noisy at night?

If you feel the need to explain to your roommate, feel free to do so. If it's inconvenient to do so, please report it to the residence manager or a student residence representative.

What should I do if the fire alarm goes off in the apartment?

Accepted Answer

If you hear the fire alarm, you should immediately leave the room and proceed to the designated fire assembly point.

Question 6

Who is responsible for the cleanliness of the apartment rooms?

Accepted Answer

All of our apartments are equipped with communal cleaning supplies and vacuum cleaners for cleaning shared kitchens and living areas. However, it is your responsibility to keep your room tidy. Please note that taking out the trash is not part of the cleaner's duties, and ensure that your room and kitchen area are free of garbage. If the public kitchen is left in a very dirty state, the residence manager has the right to impose fines on students using the public kitchen.

Can I invite friends or family to stay overnight?

You are responsible for the behavior of any guests staying with you in the same residence. If they cause any issues, you will be held accountable. However, your apartment is always open to friends and family.

Is smoking allowed in the apartment and rooms?

Accepted Answer

Smoking is not allowed in any of our apartments. Usually, there are designated smoking areas outside the apartment. If caught smoking in the room or common areas, you may face a fine of up to £250.

What are the office hours of the residence staff?

Accepted Answer

The office hours vary from apartment to apartment, and most have specific office hours. Generally, it is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

Can I live with my pet?

Pets are not allowed in our apartments. Violations will incur a fine of up to £250.
