Refund Policy
If the apartment accepts your booking request, they will send you an accommodation offer. You need to accept the accommodation offer online to confirm the booking. The apartment reserves the right to withdraw the accommodation offer at any time before you accept the accommodation offer on the website. Please note that if you do not confirm the booking within 10 days of receiving it, the accommodation offer provided by the apartment will automatically expire.
You can accept the apartment's accommodation offer and confirm the booking in the following ways:
· Log in to your account on the website
· Provide details of your guarantor (if applicable);
· Provide identification documents and any further information the apartment may require from you; Read and sign your lease agreement.
When you sign the lease agreement, your booking will be confirmed by the apartment. You acknowledge and agree that once the lease agreement is signed, you will not have the right to cancel and will be responsible for paying the full rent and any related expenses associated with the accommodation during the lease term.
After check-in:
If you decide to leave for any reason within the contract period, the apartment may only allow you to terminate the contract under the following conditions:
1. As stated in clause 7.1(n) of the lease agreement, you need written consent from the apartment to assign or sublet the lease to anyone else.
2. You need to find a suitable replacement to sign a new lease for the remaining term of your lease. This person must meet the following criteria: be over 18 years old, be a full-time student attending a university near the accommodation; sign the lease agreement with the apartment and pay all remaining amounts due therein; provide a guarantor under reasonable circumstances, who must accept the terms and conditions specified in the lease agreement.
3. You will need to pay a £50 administration fee. The apartment cannot refund you until the replacement takes over your lease, signs the lease agreement, makes the payment, and moves in. If you fail to find someone to take over your lease, you will be responsible for paying the full rent until the end of your lease.
Not getting a school offer
If you are a first-year undergraduate student and you are denied admission to your preferred university, the apartment may terminate your lease under the following circumstances:
You find a suitable replacement to sign a new lease for the remaining term of your lease. This person must: be over 18 years old, be a full-time student attending a university near the apartment; sign the lease agreement with the apartment and pay all amounts due therein; and provide a guarantor under reasonable circumstances, who must accept the terms and conditions specified in the lease agreement; and you provide a written rejection letter from the chosen university; and you can provide a copy of the admission notice from the new university.
