How to pay rent?

Please log into your student portal for your accommodation, click on 'Review/Pay Statement' to go to the payment page, then check the box next to the items you need to pay and click 'pay' to access the payment page. The accommodation accepts online card payments (credit card accepted) or bank transfers. 1. For online card payments, ensure that the type of card is one of the following: Mastercard/Visa/Visa Debit/Visa Electron. Fill in the cardholder information carefully and make sure the card has sufficient funds, and that the bank supports this transaction. Note that the card does not need to be physically in the holder's possession. 2. For bank transfer, please contact the accommodation to get the transfer account under the guidance of your consultant and complete the corresponding payment at the bank. Note that wire transfers may take several working days to process, so you need to arrange the payment in advance.

Can I pay in installments?

Is the deposit I paid at booking the security deposit? How can I get it back?

Accepted Answer

The deposit is deemed as security and does not offset the rent. After completing your booking, your deposit will be transferred to a third-party agency in the UK for safekeeping until the end of your tenancy. At check-out, it will be refunded based on the condition of the room’s facilities (significant damages may lead to partial or total forfeiture of the deposit, so please report any facility issues promptly).
