If you have a valid UK guarantor, you can choose to pay the rent in three installments due in September, January, and April. If you don't have a valid guarantor, you must pay the full rent one month before the contract begins.

How can I pay my rent?

Please log into your student portal and click on 'Review/Pay Statement' to enter the payment screen. Check the items to pay and click pay to proceed. The apartment accepts online card payments (credit cards) or bank transfers. 1. For online card payments, ensure your card is one of the following types: Mastercard/Visa/Visa Debit/Visa Electron. Fill in the cardholder's information accurately and ensure that there's enough credit and that your bank supports this payment method. Note that the card does not need to be in the cardholder's possession. 2. For bank transfers, please contact the apartment to obtain the transfer details under your advisor's guidance, and make the respective payment at the bank. Please be aware that wire transfers may take several business days to process, so plan your payments accordingly.

When should I pay rent regarding the Flexible Booking Policy I discussed with the apartment?

Is the deposit I paid during booking a security deposit? How is it refunded?

The deposit is a security deposit and does not offset the rent. After completing the booking, your deposit will be held by a third-party agency in the UK until the end of the rental period, when it will be refunded based on the extent of damage to the room's facilities during the check-out process (serious damage may lead to partial or full deductions from the deposit, so please report any facility damages promptly).
