Apartment Overview The West Wing apartments were built in 2019 and consist of 10 stories with buildings A, B, C, and D, offering 1,220 beds. These apartments provide excellent value for students, ideally located close to Cardiff University and the University of South Wales, surrounded by numerous restaurants, bars, and entertainment facilities. There is a Chinese-speaking reception desk, allowing students with social anxiety to easily communicate in Chinese. The apartments are equipped with a gym, communal social areas, recreation areas, a game room, and a laundry room, and they regularly host various events to enrich students' social lives. Each room is furnished with a desk, chair, bookshelf, and wardrobe, providing ample storage space. The Studio units allow for free double occupancy, with no extra charge for couples living together. Location and Surroundings The apartment complex is situated between Cardiff University and the University of South Wales' Cardiff campus, with convenient access to dining and entertainment options. It is about a 6-7 minute walk to the supermarket, post office, and pharmacy. Queen Street train station and the city center are a 10-minute walk away, while the city center is approximately a 15-minute walk and Cardiff University campus about a 19-minute walk. Biking to the School of Engineering and School of Computer Science at Cardiff University takes about 7 minutes, and it is a 10-minute walk to the School of Mathematics and School of Chemistry. The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama is around an 18-20 minute walk away, and reaching the Cardiff Business School requires a 28-minute walk. Security and Services The apartment is equipped with a 24-hour electronic access system and video surveillance to ensure safety.
