15-day cooling-off period To reserve a room, you need to pay £100 (Reservation Rent), with the payment time shown in the apartment system being the reference. From the day of booking, you have 15 days to sign the lease agreement. During this period, if you wish to cancel the reservation, the Reservation Rent can be fully refunded. Once the lease agreement is signed, the Reservation Rent will be retained until the first rent payment date specified in the lease agreement and deducted from your total amount due. If you wish to cancel the reservation, you must send an email to the designated apartment email address in written form to inform the apartment. Outside the cooling-off period, you may be eligible to terminate the agreement if the following conditions are met: 1. Your admission notice from your university/higher education institution is withdrawn due to your failure to achieve the required entry grades. *For 24/25AY, the deadline for cancellation in this situation is August 31, 2024 2. You have exceeded the required entry grades and chosen to go to another university, or you have special circumstances preventing you from attending university. *For 24/25AY, the deadline for cancellation in this situation is August 31, 2024 If you cancel the reservation due to the above situations, you must provide the following proof to the apartment in written form: 1. Written rejection letter from your chosen university/higher education institution 2. Reasons and evidence why you cannot attend university Please note: When you sign the lease agreement, you will enter into a legal agreement with the landlord and will be responsible for paying the full rent for the duration of your stay. The apartment will cancel your reservation if: The terms and conditions of the apartment require you to sign the lease agreement online within 15 days of receiving the Accommodation Offer. If you fail to sign the agreement within this period, the apartment may cancel your reservation and notify you by email. Additionally, if it is beyond the 15-day cooling-off period, you will lose any "Reservation Rent" already paid.
