Certainly! For locations with cluster apartments, it's easy to arrange bookings with friends. Just let us know who you want to live with, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Please note that this depends on room availability, and booking in advance will make it easier.

How do I know who I'll be living with?

Due to privacy reasons, we do not disclose names. However, you can check the resident group shared before check-in or ask your apartment team to know who you'll be living with, including information like gender, year, and school.

When can I move in?

About two months before your move-in date, you'll be invited to schedule a move-in time. You can choose a time that works best for you. If you have special requirements regarding accessibility or transport, please inform us at this time.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Unlike other providers, we do not require a deposit to secure your booking. However, we do require an upfront payment of rent, which will be deducted from your first rent payment (think of it as a gift to yourself when you arrive in September!).

What is the cancellation policy?

We have a 5-day 'cooling-off period'. This means if you need to cancel your booking, you can do so within 5 days after signing the lease, as long as you haven’t moved in yet. If you need to cancel after the cooling-off period, we will allow cancellations under certain circumstances, such as if your UK visa is rejected or you do not meet your target university's entry requirements. Please ensure to provide your UCAS notification or visa refusal documents within 72 hours of receiving notice. You can also transfer your lease to other suitable tenants. If a suitable replacement is found, we will conduct a qualification review, and once approved, they will take over the lease.

What should I do if my student loan is delayed?

How do I pay my rent?

You can pay your rent by logging in to the Concurrent Portal with your reference number and password. You can choose to pay via direct debit or bank transfer.

How do I pay my rent if I'm an international student?

As an international student, you can pay your rent via bank transfer (Transfermate) or credit card (please note there may be transaction fees). For more information, refer to your booking documents or contact your apartment team.

Can I bring pets?

We love pets, but unfortunately, you cannot bring them unless they are registered service animals. We apologize!

Can I have guests stay in my room?

Yes, but please don't invite guests to stay for more than three consecutive nights and make sure to check with your roommate first.

Will my student apartment be cleaned?

Your student room and the shared areas of the apartment will be kept very clean upon your arrival. After that, the cleaning will be your responsibility. If you have any questions or need advice, please contact our apartment team.

If you need repairs, you can report any maintenance issues through the Concurrent App, and our apartment team will address your request as soon as possible!

Can I smoke?

All our student accommodations are smoke-free, including all types of e-cigarettes. You may smoke in designated smoking areas outside the building or in the courtyard.

How do I connect to the internet?

All our locations have wireless network coverage throughout the building. Upon arrival, simply connect your device to the Wi-Fi. If needed, you can also choose to connect via Ethernet by plugging into the network socket in your room.

What items are prohibited on the premises?

For health and safety reasons, we do not allow the following items: candles, incense burners, deep fryers, and any electrical devices not compliant with UK standards and regulations. We also cannot accommodate electric scooters or similar items. Please do not bring these items, as you will be asked to remove them.

Will anyone enter my room?

We conduct three room inspections each year and occasionally perform health and safety checks. During these inspections, we will need to enter your room. However, we will inform you at least 24 hours in advance and knock before entering to introduce ourselves.

How big is the fridge in a single room? Does it have a freezer?

All single rooms come with a small fridge that includes a freezer compartment.

Can I bring a rice cooker or electric pressure cooker?

Please avoid bringing these appliances (or any similar voltage devices). They pose a high voltage risk and can lead to electric shock.

We do not provide airport shuttle services. However, all our locations have convenient transport links. Depending on where you are, you can choose public buses, trains, or taxis.
