❗️Speaking of London, although it's bustling and fashionable, it's not particularly safe. During the day, it's mostly fine, but at night, it feels a bit risky. For example, theft and robbery in the UK are common occurrences, almost every day in the news. The line between theft and robbery here is really blurred. Some thieves are so audacious that they forcibly snatch your down jacket on the street, and stealing or snatching phones is just too common!
‼️Stay away from beggars. If they greet you on the street, just pretend you didn't hear or understand. Don't play the saint; it's better to avoid unnecessary trouble.
‼️When taking the subway in London, try to keep a certain distance from the tracks. There's almost no protection on the London subway tracks. There have been cases where people have pushed others onto the tracks out of revenge.
Don't 🐷 rent secluded old buildings; it's best for us students to stay in student apartments. They have good security measures and access control, and it's mostly students inside, so it's relatively safe!
‼️Usually, carry less cash 💷 when going out, and make sure to keep your phone secure. It's best to use a phone strap tied to your wrist because phone theft is rampant in every corner of the UK 🤨.
Stay away from teenagers. Although most British adults are very courteous, British teenagers are really annoying, generally lacking boundaries. Don't provoke them!
