Living in an ensuite was definitely the right decision for me. I couldn't understand why people prefer the British style.
I don't understand why some students in the English-speaking areas avoid ensuite rooms, especially those who are concerned about budget.
Personally, I've booked a triple ensuite (which usually ends up being a 6-8 person room). We're all Chinese students sharing one kitchen, and everyone is really friendly. ❤️
Because we have our own private bathrooms, most of us tend to stay in our rooms when we're free. But when we do hang out, we gather in the kitchen, chat, and share delicious food. Plus, none of us are party animals - we prefer chilling in our dorms watching dramas or going out for a stroll. ✨
Usually, we each do our own thing in our rooms. It's like having a studio apartment with no kitchen when the door is closed, and a shared kitchen and leisure area when we step out.
Some people say the place is small, but honestly, the studio isn't much bigger. Cooking smells can fill up the entire room, so if you prefer spacious places or have pets, it's better to rent a house outside.
Ladies, don't stress too much when choosing dorms. After all, we're here to study, and nothing beats the warmth and happiness of an ensuite. Having two roommates to help out when needed is always better than being lost on your own. ✍️
